Troubleshooting errors when importing reviews from Aliexpress

AlphaReview offers the capability to import reviews from Aliexpress, which is typically a straightforward process. However, there may be instances where the import process encounters difficulties or fails due to external factors. If you experience issues while importing reviews from Aliexpress, please refer to this page for troubleshooting tips to help resolve the problem.
What error did you face?

URL is not verified

You have to verify the Aliexpress URL to import reviews. If the URL is not being verified successfully, please double-check if you have provided us with a valid Aliexpress URL.

The imported reviews just show the stars and nothing esle (empty reviews)

Sometimes Aliexpress reviews include reviews without any content. As you see, there may be reviews solely consist of ratings with no text or images. If you would like to exlude those reviews from being imported, apply the filter “Skip reviews without any content.”

Imported reviews are not appearing on the theme

First, verify if there are reviews successfully imported. You can see how many reviews were imported on the import history. Click the view icon to access the list of imported reviews. If you can see the reviews imported on this list but unable to locate them on your store, proceed to the next step.

The imported reviews are less than expected

First, verify if your import process has been fully executed. You can track the status of your import by accessing the import history section. If the import is still in progress, it may require additional time to complete, depending on the number of reviews and specific criteria you have selected.

If the import process has been successfully completed, the issue may be related to your import criteria. AlphaReview check the reviews from your Aliexpress link sequentially, to filter and include only the reviews that match your specified import criteria. If the criteria you have chosen are too strict, it is possible that there are not enough reviews to be imported.

Import history says the import “Failed”

Occasionally, AliExpress experiences difficulties loading reviews on their product pages, particularly during periods of high traffic. Consequently, it may not be possible to import reviews from a specific AliExpress page at that moment.
Please attempt the import process again after a few hours or try with a different AliExpress product. If you encounter persistent issues, please contact us and provide the product links you attempted to import.
