AlphaReview offers the capability to import reviews from Amazon, which is typically a straightforward process. However, there may be instances where the import process encounters difficulties or fails due to external factors. What error did you face?
URL Verification Failed
To import reviews, it is necessary to verify the Amazon URL. If the URL verification is not successful, please ensure that you have provided a valid Amazon URL.

Verify that the provided URL is for the specific product page.

All Amazon products have URLs that begin with these letters.
Import Failure
There are two main cases in which imports may fail:

There might be no reviews with content on the Amazon product page. Currently, AlphaReview does not import reviews with no content (reviews that only have star ratings).
•
Amazon may block the crawling process. Blocking can occur randomly, and in such cases, the import will fail. Please retry after a while.

If none of these cases apply, please contact the AlphaReview team for assistance.
Imported Reviews Not Displaying on the Theme

First, verify if the reviews were successfully imported. You can check the number of imported reviews in the import history. Click the view icon to access the list of imported reviews. If you can see the imported reviews in this list but cannot locate them on your store, proceed to the next step.

Ensure that AlphaReview's widgets are installed on your store. Refer to the provided document for instructions on installing AlphaReview's Widgets on Shopify 2.0: Installing AlphaReview’s Widgets on Shopify 2.0.
Fewer Imported Reviews Than Expected
Please note that Amazon displays a maximum of 100 reviews at a time. Since AlphaReview fetches the reviews displayed on the front end by Amazon, it cannot retrieve more than 100 reviews. AlphaReview reads the requested number of reviews and imports reviews that match your applied filters. Additionally, video reviews are not imported.
Inability to Use the "Translate to English" Option
The "Translate to English" option is only available for reviews on Amazon that provide this functionality on their front end. For more details, please refer to the following document.
