Labels Management

In this guide, you will learn what label is, how to create and use it.

What is β€˜Label’?

When you label a review, it can be displayed in a widget that is connected to that label. This can be helpful in collecting high-quality reviews and showcasing them in a special widget. The labeling process can be done manually or automatically based on certain conditions, such as the rating, presence of a photo or video, or the specific product or collection being reviewed.
We recommend creating a label that works with a special widget, such as the Highlight widget, and assigning the best review to that label. Learn more about widgets here.

Label Type

There are two types of labels available in the system: common labels and product labels. The main difference between these label types is how the labeled reviews are displayed in widgets.
β€’
Common Label
A common label is a label that you can apply to any review regardless of the product it is related to. When a review is labeled with a common label, it will appear in all connected widgets without any distinction between different products. So, reviews with a common label will be displayed in all connected widgets.
β€’
Product Label
A product label is a label that you can apply to a review to distinguish its product information. When a review is labeled with a product label, it will appear in the connected widget within the product page of the corresponding product. If multiple products are part of a review group, all reviews with a product label will be displayed on the widget for each product in the group.

Label Name

Enter a name for the label. It should be a maximum of 30 characters long. The label name is used to differentiate one label from another and to allow the label to be easily searched and identified within the system.
When creating a new label, make sure to choose a name that accurately reflects the purpose and use of the label for easy management and organization. This name will not be visible to your customers.

Widget to Connect

You can choose up to 20 widgets to connect to a label.
When you select this option, you can see a list of available widgets in a dropdown menu, which displays each widget's name, type, location, and creation date. You can then select one or more widgets to connect to the label by clicking on the plus button located next to the dropdown menu.
By connecting widgets to a label, the reviews that are labeled with that label will be displayed in those connected widgets.

Automatic Labeling

The Automatic Labeling feature allows you to apply labels to reviews automatically based on specific conditions that you choose.
You can choose from different conditions such as the minimum rating, number of photos, presence of a video review, social media reviews, and reviews of specific products or collections.
You can also choose the number of reviews to be labeled automatically up to 100.
Note: you must select at least one condition for automatic labeling to work.

View, Edit or Delete Labels

Once you have created your labels, you can manage them in the Labels Management tab. You can view all of your labels in a table, which includes information about the label type, label name, connected widgets, automatic/manual labeling, and the number of reviews that have been assigned to the label.
Warning: Please be aware that deleting a label will remove all reviews associated with that label.

How to manually label a review

To manually label a review, go to the Review Moderation page, select the review you want to label, and click on the label icon. You can choose from existing labels or create a new one. You can learn more here.
