Importing reviews on AlphaReviews is a simple process, but there are some criteria that you need to meet in order to successfully import reviews. If you encounter any errors during the import process, download the error report and check the “Errors” column to see why each row failed. This page provides troubleshooting tips to help you resolve each errors.
What error did you face?Review content missing
The column name may vary (e.g. content, review_content, review, body, body_text, review_body etc.).
This message appears when the review content field is left blank. As the review content field is mandatory, you must enter at least 1 character for each row.
Product not found
The column name may vary (e.g. productId, product_id, product_handle, handle etc.).
This message indicates that the product could not be identified. Please check whether your product id or product handle is missing or contains invalid information. As the product information is mandatory, you need to fill in either product id or product handle.
(Depending on the app from which you exported your reviews, you may need the product title in some cases.)

Rating is invalid / missing
The column name may vary (e.g. stars etc.).
This message indicates that the rating field is empty or contains invalid data. Only the values 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 are valid.
If you import with AlphaReview template,
Review date is invalid / missing
The column name may vary (e.g. created_at, dateCreated, date, date(yyyy-mm-dd), etc.).
This message appears when the review date field is empty or contains invalid data. The default format for the review date is 2022-05-27 00:00:00 UTC.
If you import with AlphaReview template,
Reviewer name missing
The column name may vary (e.g. author, name, etc.).
This message appears when the reviewer name field is empty.
If you import with AlphaReview template,
Missing params
Note that the header name could vary according to your previous review app.
This message appears when the required headers are missing. The required headers are as follows:
